The mod uses a new system for materials that are used in creature tissues. It is somewhat similiar to the one found in the Modest Mod, although it was made independently.
There are several tiers of tissue strength and material value:
- Normal (Animal with material value x1, Humanoid with x4).
- Mutant, with all the material strength parameters multiplied by 2 (Animal x1, Rare x4, Exotic x6, Humanoid x7).
- Morphling, strength multiplied by 3 (Wild x4, Morphling x8).
- Divine, strength multiplied xy 4 (value x15).
Most playable entity members and domestic animals beling to the Normal tier. Most animals belong to the Mutant tier, with the type depending on their value multiplier in vanilla (for example, a tiger would have Exotic). Some of the most dangerous animals, rare playable entity member castes, a lot of unplayable entity member castes and megabeasts have Morphling. The most powerful creatures have Divine.
Some creatures also use unique material sets.
All meat from non-Normal creatures is inedible and must be processed in a Food Purifier.
